I need to coordinate the work of several authors on a single website. Does anyone know of a product that will allow me to mark up HTML in the same manner as I can Word or WordPerfect, showing deletions and insertions, etc.? The only hint I've gotten in several weeks of looking is to use INS and DEL in HTMLDOC, but that's not entirely adequate.
Alternatively, can HTML show line numbering?
Any advice is welcome.
S. Malkah Cohen
smcohen@fusionauthority.com
<a href= Home Page
S. Malkah Cohen
There are a couple tools I know of for having multiple people work on the same site. NetObjects Fusion is one. There is also a server (Unix only I think) base one called CVS which stands for Control Version System.
Alternatively HomeSite can show line numbers. In HomeSite 4.x, in Edit Mode, there is a pound sign on the left side of the editing panel. Click this and the line numbers will show up.
