Hi all,

Been working in the sharepoint environment and was wondering if anyone has been able to access the webparts that are in sharepoint to edit/change them. The reason I am asking is because I want to be able to make changes to the webparts to make them meet my users’ requirements as they just need small changes. For example I want to change one of the webparts that is called ListFormWebPart in the NewForm.aspx code form. The NewForm.aspx can be found in the list folder which can be found at any ideas how I can get to the webpart code would be great.

I have the .net environment set up so I can change the webpart. I am amusing the webpart will either be a c+ code or vsb code.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

The standard webparts are only editable in Frontpage 2003, by converting to XSTL view, you can then customize the fields and add new ones....

But there is no way to get the source code of the parts..

BTW if your working in .NET i hope you'll be programming in C#(instead of C+) and VB.NET(instead of vsb) :p
