Editing auto complete of e-mail addresses

When typing e-mail addresses, names automatically pop up.
Some are old and obselete and no longer needed.

How do you edit the list of names?

I have not entered any names in the address or contact book. Apparantly they are stored in the "sent" list somewhere. I need to access this list to get rid of old addresses no longer in use and mis-spelled names.

You are seeing the Nickname cache. You should be able to delete the incorrect ones, by pressing the delete key when they show up. You can also delete the entire cach by deleting the appropriate *.nk2 file.
