editing ASP files in Dreamweaver 2

I need to download ASP files for a client, and insert reformatted HTML/text into a template within these files. In order to create this template, I need to be able to read the ASP files, but Dreamweaver (2) does not seem to be able to. Short of learning ASP or buying new software (UltraDev)can anyone suggest a way to do this otherwise simple task? Thank you.

If you have office 2000 you can use frontpage instead. It will handle the asp code fine.

the best option is to use Visual InterDev. It has syntax highlight, nice project explorer, powerful search, etc. ---
