Hi Guys,

I'm trying to create separete role in System Manager 7.1 for 1st level guys to manage Avaya Aura Messanging and be able to create/edit/remove VM boxes. However after giving them role 'Messaging System Admin' ("Gives you access and permission to perform all activities related to Messaging or mailbox. You cannot perform any tasks related to Communication Manager as a Modular Messaging administrator") they have messaging option available can go there and see existing VM boxes, but cannot perform changes. It works for me if I have role 'System Admin".

AAM of course added to SMGR's invetory.
SMGR version 7.1
AAM version 7.0

Any of you have seen such or resolved it?

You will be better off just setting up a new web mask in the AAM system. That way you can restrict what they can see and do. The SMGR is a real crap shoot when it comes to the Admin of AAM.

But that's just my take on it.
