Hello everyone,

I have a file (P.A.)in a folder (Dept Forms) on a server at my work. This form,an excel file, is used by all employees accessed by a common server. When "I" open the file it is a "read only" file. Only the creator of the form can edit it under the same name, I can edit it but have to rename it. Myself and the creator need to be able to change the form when needed without renaming it.

We have tried sharing the workbook and can't seem to get it done.

Any one with any ideas would be appreciated.

Chris

What are your permission levels set at? Can you set your permission for it to be the same as the creator?
