Editiing reports in the Main switchboard

I am trying to edit current reports in the Main switchboard, when in design view - properties - and am trying to view datasource so that i can find out what table the data is coming from to edit with current data, however, I cannot find the datasource. For instance if i have a report that has 2006 data in it, I need to update it and add 2007 data in it, but i cannot get to the source nor find out the source. When in datasheet view, I can see where the data is coming from and even see the name of the table it is pulling from, but cannot edit it and some of the field labels that it is pulling info from just do not match. I am looking for a query that would possibly be getting the data, but to no avail. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Any advice? Thanks!

I'm not sure what your switchboard has to do with the design of your report. Open the report in design view and find the Record Source property. You should be able to change this property to meet your needs.
