I have created a Form in Dexterity 7.50 which includes a Window that has an ‘Editable’ Scrolling Window on it. The Scrolling Window is being populated from a custom SQL Table (SQL2000) using a ‘fill window’ statement on the Window, this seems to work fine.

The problem I am having is once I click on a row on the Scrolling Window, I get the following error:

The selected record has been deleted by another user.

I am working on a SQL installation local to my machine and I am certain no one else is deleting the record or even accessing it. What might the problem be?

This error normally occurs when you have a range set on the table and the record you are clicking on is not contained in the range. So when Dexterity tries to re-read the record to place a passive lock on it, it can't find it and hence produces the message you are seeing.

Please look for any range start, range end and range table where commands.

Hope this helps.
