Hey all,

I need to edit gpo settings for Vista comptuters on a 2003 domain. I cannot seem to find this anywhere in an understandable form online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Danny

I have never claimed to be good at googling. Apparently my mind just doesn't work like most people's. That page seems (I haven't quite finished it yet) to be exactly what I spent over an hour looking for.

Thank you and have a star!

I have one other question. Up to this point, we haven't used gmpc for editing the group policies. When I right click on the policy in the gpmc snap-in, edit is grayed out. What do I need to do to enable me to edit the gpo's in vista? Thanks,

Danny

Nevermind. I had to put the user in the domain admin group.

That solved the issue.

I know the feeling. I've just been using google long enough and the right phrases, it come easy to me any more.

Glad you were able to figure out the GPMC issue. When I first started messing with 2003, I resisted GPMC as well, but am a very huge fan of it now.
