EDIT user.dat?

There are entries in my User.dat that I can not locate
when using Regedit. I need to delete these.

PLease Help

Try hitting F8 on startup, choose command prompt only. At the c: prompt, type:
cd\windows\command
then type:
scanreg /fix /opt

This will fix errors and reduce the size. You'll need to shutdown and restart.

User.dat can be located in 2 different places.
In c:\windows as well as in any profiles you have created. Cheers,
