edit the records defined in a form

I have a database with multiple entries. (i.e., one cages, deeler, adress, etc) I have used forms & subforms liberally and lots of tables throughout my database with command buttons and all of that good stuff. I would like the values I enter in on a "general Information" form to be modifiyed (i.e. I would only like to enter the information once.)

How can i change the field list for this form, i need to delete one record defined in this form because i do not need that info anymore and when i try to set a new record and error appear (it ask me to fill the record i already deleted). Well, after that i decided to do a new form, but now my problem is that i need to add another field to my form and i don`t have it in the field list of my new form.

I also tried to set this new record with the expression generator utilitie but i get an erro "name" every time i run this form.

I have tried to copy information to forms/subforms, write update queries, and a couple of other things to make this work. I suspect it is something simple, i just need somone to get me over the top on this one.

ANYBODY CAN HELP ME PLEASE...

I assume that you have text boxes on your form. Have you tried to set the default property to your text boxes and have that store your information that you want to modify? If you want to delete a specific record that is viewing on your form then try having a command button and a delete query on the click event of the command button. Please let me know if you need example code for the delete query.

Hello!

Well actually i`m not using any query in this form, it`s just a form with fields (combo boxes, text boxes, subforms)taken by a table, my question is focus in if there is any way in witch i can add another field to my form that i don`t have it in the courrent field list (the ones that were defined whe i create my form), or i will always need to do a new form if i want to modify my form or data design.
