Can anyone tell me why after I edit the query iniside the 'Show SQL Query', I clicked OK, saved the Report itself then run the Report, but it keep going back to the previous query before the change. I even checked the properties of my Report and Read-Only is unchecked. Thanks for the help.

In CR 9, you can edit the SQL, in older versions, you can edit part of the SQL.

Read the Description area in the Show SQL Query window.

Keep in mind that once you start manually changing the SQL, CR will not be able to update the SQL through the use of it's interface.

If you share specifics of what you're doing and versions, someone might better help you.
