Edit Outlook Distribution Groups

I got a troubel ticket to remove some members from distro group recently. Normally I would go in to users in group in the server running exchange to set that up. For some reason I wanted to double check the members in that distro, so I did the following. Created a new message, clicked TO.., Double-clicked on the distro group to add it to the To: field. Then double clicked on the distro group in the two field and up poped a box listing all the members listed in that distro group. The new button, or at least I have never noticed it was Modify Members. When I click that it says add remove and properties. My question after all this rambling, is if I add or remove from the distor group here, is that system wide or just for my outlook?

If it's a Distribution List in your Global Address List, it's global.
