Edit Goldmine users name.

Please help, we sually have a goldmine specialist here but he is on vacation. If someone could help. We have a few employees that have left the company. These employee names are being associated with current clients in Goldmine as account managers. There names have been deleted from the master file, but not from database. How can I edit a particular persons name to apply to ALL the clients they were managing. In some case I just want to put 'employee left'
I tried doing File>Configure>user Settings> doesnt work on this Goldmine. My file tab hasnt got those specs. I am on 5.7.

Any help is appreciated.

PS.Right now, I have filtered that person accounts and editing one at a time, over 900 accounts. Has to be easiar way.

Look for the LOOKUP.INI file in the root of your GoldMine folder and modify it as appropriate.

Second, there's a global replace wizard in the tools menu that can replace the contents of a given field for a filteres set of contacts so you don't wear the letters off the keyboard pasting that many records manually!

It's always good to have a second GoldMine expert's contact info -- just in case the first is on vacation or.. ?
