Edit Column Properties Dialogue - Screen picture vs characters 1

Hi Everyone,

On the Column Properties dialogue I changed the characters and places values and noticed that the screen picture changes to reflect the new values.

If I change the values in the screen picture the characters and places values do not change. Why?

If I use the screen picture @N$(16.2) can you tell me what the characters value should be? I am assuming it should be 19 to include the $() characters.

Hi Emad,

@N$(16.2) occupies 16 character spaces only. Check the help.
