Edit an XML from a webpage.

I would like to create a webpage that has two textboxes and a button. I have an XML file that has two particle fields that I would like to edit using this new information that is entered. Basically a Contact Name and Subject. Can someone send me in the right direction?

Basically, the XML file belongs to a different system, I plan on importing via webservices into the other system. But all I really need to do first is edit two fields.
