Hi,

I was wondering once your have creted an image, flatten it nd saved it. Is it possible to undo it and edit the layers?

Thanks

No. Once It's flattened there is only one layer and all other layer information is lost.

Yes you can -- by way of the history palette. Provided you haven't closed image. Just highlight the step prior to the flatten step and all previous layers are restored.

thanks for both of you guys. Thats true, once you close the image then there is nothing you can do, but if the image is open then you can go back through history....

Sorry if my answer confused at all Inusrat. You can indeed use history panel to roll back a flattened image if its still open. I was assuming that you meant after opening a saved image that you had previously flattened.

It's also a good Idea to take snapshots (history palette), as by default the history can only remember 20 steps.

Moe: It could have been a real ugly situation, but luckily I managed to shoot him in the spine.
