I have a report that prints detail lines and then sums fields (SSum) by group. If a particular sum is zero, I don't want to print that group. Is it possible to do this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Go into Find mode on the report view. Click in the summary field and enter <>0 as the condition. If some records are found you can save it as a named find by overtyping <Current Find/Sort> in the dropdown in the Action Bar. Once saved, the named find can be run from the macro Find command or by selecting it in the Action Bar.

Paul, Thanks for your suggestion. I went into report view. Clicked on Find, Find Assistatnt. However, none of my summary fields are there. When I go into Create, Field Definitions, the summary fields are there. Any suggestions?

Take a look at the message "Calculated Field Problem" Posted 08/30/2002. You can't use the Find Assistant but you should be able to configure the field for a Find on the View.

Don't use Find Asst it can't use summary calcs; from the menu on the Report, Browse - Find - Find using Report then follow the steps in my first answer.
