We were upgrading to a new iseries/AS400 and I thought that since EDI4XXPGM had the programs and EDI4XXDTA had the data, that EDI4XXPGM and EDI4XXDTA could be placed on the new machine once for testing and then just the EDI4XXDTA would have to be moved to the new machine at migration to new machine time. Now I am worried that EDI4XXPGM may have needed to be moved again at same time as EDI4XXDTA for everything to link up. Does anyone know if this created a problem? We are using TrustedLink Version 2.11. If it is a problem, can it be fixed by restoring library EDI4XXPGM now (we have already run EDI a couple of days on the new machine).

EDI4XXPGM in TrustedLink for AS400 question

It doesn't seem to be a problem. The EDI documents are being received and processed without a problem. The error messages the occur are the same as on the old system. The manual does not say that this will cause any problem; it looks like the program library and data library are separate enough for this to work OK.
