EDI integration with Wordpress

Happy to have stumbled onto this forum while looking for info on CIF data files.
I was curious if anyone has any experience or suggestions regarding Wordpress and EDI. Specifically, suggestions on the best approach to program the back end of my e-commerce wordpress site or perhaps a plugin and/or extension that may help integrating EDI into my Wordpress site?

I'm using Wordpress with Woocommerce, importing CIF catalog files using Woocommerce CSV product import suite and hoping I won't run into a brick wall with my next step which is EDI
