EDI Certified?

Hey everyone, I have been doing EDI for a little while now and the other day a TP asked if we were EDI Certified.... This is the first I am hearing about certs for EDI. Does my Company need to be EDI certified? What is cert-able? The translation soft? Any info on this would help me out...

After 12 years of EDI this is the first time I've heard anyone ask about EDI certifications. My trading partners do not ask about it and I deal with Wal-Mart and the rest.

Do you mean you want to get certifued or your business entity?

If you are dealing with HIPAA you're company is certified if you meet certain criteria. Visit the WIDI site for more info.
