My reseller just up and closed it's doors. I have been left to find new source for technical support without much success.

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

We went to settle our batch through EDC last night, however, no figures were showing on the EDC main screen. When going to "Review Transactions" all of the day's credit card transactions are showing up. I stopped and restarted POS Processing to no avail. Still nothing showing up and I cannot batch. Message tells me there are no items to batch since last batch which was the night before last.

I then tried to authorize a small transaction from BOH but even that transaction did not show up on the EDC main screen. Any ideas for me?

I have little expertise in this area but am willing to try to get this fixed myself.

You have a file called settleing in the EDC\PROCESSOR folder. Delete it then stop and start EDC processing from the edc menu.

This is a common problem, EDC times out during the settleing process, dosen't get confirmation from the processor if the batch reached 100% and confirmation back to close the batch.

1. Delete the settleing file.
2. Stop processing the start processing - transactions will re-appear.
3. call your processor to make sure the transactions didn't go thru.
4. re-settle if they didn't - force settle if they got the batch.

Cheers,
Coorsman
