EDC preauthorizations

A customer today got preauthorized for 20% more than the total but I had zero in % held for tips. Anywhere else this may be marked? I really hate these calls from customers about this. They just don't understand and I've had several who overdrafted their account because of our $5 ticket..........

BTW I'm on current 6.217 & 6.4.23 Aloha & EDC at our stores.

Check in Maintenance - store settings - group - credit cards - edc setup - Assume this tip % for authorization () box.
