My backup software is not backing up the following files:

\exchsrvr\Dsadata\edb.log
\exchsrvr\Dsadata\temp.edb
\exchsrvr\mdbdata\edb.log
\exchsrvr\mdbdata\tmp.edb

Are they important?

Also not backing up the following temp files:
\WINNT\JET4.tmp
\WINNT\JET5954.tmp
\WINNT\JET6D.tmp

the edb.log files are the most recent transactions, which may or may not be committed, so you would need those. The temp.edb files only exist while they are in use (writing transactions), so those are not as important. Don't worry about the .tmp files.
