I own a medium sized Health Food Retail store and most of my prices have recently gone up. I need to find a way through the ECRS Catapult Enterprise Automation software we use to update all these prices at once. Is there any such way? We also emply a "ScanGenius" pda which has the complete list of current prices that can readily be converted to an Excell worksheet. Basically asking if there is a way to import this worksheet into the Catapult Program quickly and efficiently. I dont want to have my employees manually punch in ever price change as that would take months. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I may or may not be much help with this, but if you are importing to an excel worksheet, and my guess is that this scan genius file has your new cost but not your new retail price. Couldn't you add another column to the excel sheet that calculates your retail via a formula based on the cost column and then import it using either the inventory worksheet or the price change worksheet. Obviously I haven't done this but I do have some small amount of knowledge of Catapult.

The ScanGenius is used to order inventory from our distrubitors, so it has both current cost and retail prices. The only problem is actually importing. the Excell sheets usually come up as "unreadable".
