Hi,

I am given the task of mapping NSF Format to 837P. I have mapped the fields and I am creating the Map Flow. The Input NSF File Format has only one header record ( AA0 ) which I believe corresponds to the ST, BHT, REF,NM1,PER segments of the 837. My question is, how will I develop the map flow so that each new provider starts a new ST segment ? The input NSF File Format that I have has the following sequence.
AA0
BA0
BA1
CA0
DA0
EA0
EA1
FA0
FB0
XA0
YA0

If someone can tell me where I can get more information, that would be really helpful.

Thanks !

Hello!

What does NSF mean?

I just started working on a similar task for a small client. They need a mapping from their legacy system to the 837P format.

I just started looking at the 837 document; did you find a layout to map to?

I have found several websites that may relate to the task, but I just do not know applicability yet.

Perhaps I could help you if you could tell me a little more about your task.

Incidenatlly, my client is in Louisiana, and so far the state Medicare org has not been much help.
