Would like to know if there are any members who work with MySQL 3.23.52(Unix) and develop applications in Eclipse 3.4.1(Windows) and Tomacat 6.0. I have installed the mysql-connector-java-5.1.7 on the windows host.
Followed instructions to create an application in Eclipse that accesses the MySQL database but unable to display the results when the jsp is executed.

If any one can help it will be very much appreciated

Can you create a stand alone Java application which connects to your data base server with JDBC (presume that's was your using and see what happens ?
Can you also do this with perhaps vb script and ADO to see what happens with a differecnt technology.

Hi ingresman,
Thanks for the reply. A small java program to test if the MySQL driver is accessible runs fine.
With in Database explorer in Eclipse I could connect to the database and see the tables even.
My problem is in not being able to bring up the web page after clickig on the jsp program in the Project Explorer.
If you want to look at the I would like to send you the context.xml, web.xml and the demo.jsp along with Project Explorer setup in Eclipse.
May be you can help me with this.

Thanks

I don't use eclipse (or java) but by all means post the .jsp and everyone can have a look. I suspect it's not exclipse but how you are connecting to the server.
Can you amaned your test java to be a .jsp and see if that runs (I should have picked up on tomcat and realised you were running web stuff)
