Has anyone experienced problems with ECHO on IP phones when the call is going over an analog trunk? We don't get this problem when the call goes over a digital trunk.

We have seen this problem over BTU cards as well as TLU41. We have not gotten resolution from Ericsson on this and was hoping someone out there reported this and/or got a resolution to this problem.

The system is at BC11 SP13.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Change your TRM value on your analog trunk. TRM should be 4 or maybe the analog trunk is programmed as long line. Remember the echo is always produce by the far end, this case its your analog trunks.

I got a similar issue;
MD110 linked to IPPBX (Asterisk) through TLU76.

SIP phone on IP ===> Digital extension of MD 110 fine
SIP Phone on IP ===> Analog extension of MD 110 not good

echo on the SIP phone side.

TRM is 5 on the TLU76 but has it something to do with it ?

If you can just manage to deal with TRM and also change ATTN by LSATI command, probably you may fix your own problem.
