When writing a macro I always start with Echo No and finish with Echo Yes. That way I do not have to watch all the Access antics (closing and opening forms etc) whilst the macro is doing its business. However, this doesn't always work. I have tried converting the macro to script but this does not help much either!! Is there a 'stronger' version of Echo No & Yes in Access? On a general point about Echo No & Yes, it never seems to be particularly efficient at hiding the action - any clues?

Not sure what you mean by Script...<br>But have you heard of VBA?<br>It will allow you complete control of everthing.<br><br> <p>DougP<br><a href=mailto: dposton@universal1.com> dposton@universal1.com</a><br><a href= > </a><br> Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.
