I have a new BCM400 3.7 with all new patches. It supports about 90 digital phones and only 9 i2004 VoIPs fed by 8 analog CO lines. The 2004's are on their own network consisting of 2 Nortel 5520-24 switches connected via fiber.
My issues are echoing only when the Voip's are connected to a analog trunk, whether incoming or out going. At normal conversation level all is ok but if you increase the volume of your voice echoing starts. The louder a person talks the greater the echo. I have tried turning QOS off, playing with the jitter buffer and every combination of codec. I have also checked to make sure there are no mismatches between phones and switch ports. Currently everything is set to auto-negociate. I did try manually switching to full duplex- 100M.
All calls to and from Digital sets are fine.
All station to station (internal) calls are fine. (dig to dig and voip to dig.)
Anyone have any ideas?
