ECCstandalone is free of charge??

Hi... is there any license issue on ECC standalone regardless of md110 lidap.. I mean if there is a cost depending of the number of user or installed ones.

you need a DNA license + MD110 license (IP extension)

Hi dady,
On DNA license is there any limitation about the installed ECCstandalone user or does it mean if the customer has a DNA license then, he can use ECC standalone with unlimited user.

No it's not unlimited, license looks like this :

"D.N.A. 5.2 Ericsson Communication Client in 100 user bundles"

license product number : FAL 104 0711/100 R2

Yes but, is there any license check for it? Because ECCstand alone application does not require DNA server ...
ECC applicaiton and ECCstandalone applications are different


ECA is an application used with DNA server but ECC standalone application does not need any server as DNA... It s only a client application which can be directly installed to the client PC and does not need any registration to DNA server.

Am i right??

I'm not 100% sure if you can use ECC without DNA, if this is the case you don't have phonebook feature in ECC and you only need IP extension lic in the MD110, will try to test this...

Yes the customer does not want to use phone book feature and they only want to use softphone feature in several machines.. And they wonder if this case is free or licensed per machine.

after looking up some info it appears to me that the Standalone version doesn't need DNA licensing...
