I have a user who enabled EC500 on their 4621 phone set, and it seemed to be forwarding OK to her cellphone. I now am showing that station disconnected/out of service. I believe they unplugged the phone set for use elsewhere. Doesn't that station need to be live in order for EC500 to forward calls? Simple question, but I can't seem to confirm that anywhere.

thanks

CJ

No, the phone can be dead. There can be issues because if the phone is not live with an assigned Network Region and Location (assuming an IP Phone - not relevant if DCP/Analog) the call will only route out the all table unless you set it as PBFMC and assign a trunk group/location for outbound routing (also dependent on your version). If you are single site no worries.
