Hi all,
I just set up EC500 on my phone and it works with no issues however I have a question: With EC500 activated, a call comes in...it then rings my cell phone...I pick up the call on my cell however the call no longer appears on my desk phone. Is there a way to keep the call "appearance" on my desk phone? This way if I am not by my desk and I answer a call on my cell I'd like to pick the call up at my desk phone when I return to my desk.

I had this working on my old pbx when I was using remote coverage.

I googled for this but I cannot find anyone with a similar situation.

Thanks all!!
John

It is suppose to be the 1st call app. on your phone, and if you wanted to pick it up at your desk you would just pick up that app.

Give us more detail on how you setup EC500.

It should work that way by default.

Are you using a station with a bridged appearance?

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

No my station does not have a bridged appearance.

Is there any coverage path that would route to your cell phone? And unless your cell phone is a long distance number, I would try it with out the Pefix of 1.

I experienced a similar problem recently after upgrading to CM 4.0.4, Service Pack 4. I had to work through Avaya who wrote a patch and applied the patch for us so that EC500 would work correctly.

Here is a copy of the config following the update:
