We are running ArcServeIT 6.61 on an NT machine. Lately we have been getting a message at the end of the Job Log that says:
Failed to insert detailed records.(EC=Error Code=7)

Does anyone have any idea what this is or how to fix it? I think that it has something to do with the detailed records of what it puts on the tape, because I can't browse to a single file on the tapes anymore I have to restore entire folders. I could really use some help on this.

Thanks,
Crash

Sounds like database corruption. Initialise the database (this will clear it out) and then re-merge the tapes into it. Then attempt a restore and see how it goes. Also, check for any .CAT files in the ARCserve\temp directory. If there are any then it means that catalogue files are not being merged into the database. I think that you should initialise the whole database, but if not desired then only initialise ASTPSDAT
