Hi, I want to ask, if it is possible to change password on IP extensions created on EBN resp. MD Evolution through TLG? not default password 1234, but for example 9843... if not, how can I change it?

Many thanks

The prefix “79” is the one usually used to access
the user password management service. It may,
however, have been modified by your maintainer

DIAL 79 old password, new password

i.e. 7912349853 then Press the Loudspeaker key on your extension.
You will receive both visible and audible confirmation for
registering your new password: “PASSWORD REGISTERED”
will be displayed on your screen, and the service acceptance
tone will be played.

Thank You for Your answer, so the only way, how to set up another password than default is through telephone.
So if I want to use MDE like Backup for MXONE, I need to change all passwords with this way... ( it`s about 40 exts, so it isn't so bad)

Many thanks, You help me a lot.

yes you are correct, only change passwords via telephone. TLG will only allow default 1234 to be used as initial password and reset to this if required.
