EBA/Backup Advisor collector - resource issues..?

Hi, we are on the planning stages of deploying EMC Backup Advisor - the admins of the clients are none too keen about having these collector processes running on their machines, and worry they may consume resources needed by the applications(s). Anyone have any knowledge/input on this? ~THX

The collectors gather data at non-peak hours to avoid putting more load on the server. I have seen just one instance where we *think* the collector might be causing some performance problems, but that is still under investigation. I have several other servers, both unix and windows, running just fine.

We looked at them and chose Servergraph. Seemed like a better solution for us. Better performance on our servers, didn't hammer them as much at BA. Good luck.
