EasySync pro and Palm desktop 4.01

I have a palm 505 with Palm OS 4, and desktop version 4.01 with Lotus EasySync Pro for Notes email. when i try to sync the calandar from lotus to the palm i get "Unknown OS errors, unable to synhronize" i have reinstalled the program cleaning and the errors persists. Could it be a possible conflict or error in Lotus notes that the palm, is picking up?

I beleive this is a genuine fault in the software, namely EasySync Pro 4.... there are many cases of this occurence posted up on teh web. I tell you this as I am in search of a porgram that will enable me to trasfer all my contracts from my PDA to my new Laptopn with Lotus Notes 5R

Do you sync your calendar on another computer? Like at home?

If this is the case, it won't work on both machines.

Something about the way that Palm made the software.

It seems that whenever you sync a calendar, the Palm gets an ID.

Then, if you try to sync on another PC it doesnt work or you get an error.

If you find a fix for this let me know.

The way I get around it is, I got another program I downloaded called Calender

(original I know) this is a totally seperate calendar with it's own database.

So I use my Palm OS Calendar for work stuff that I sync with EasySync for Lotus Notes .

And I use "Calendar" for my personal life.

I use Palm easysync version 3.0a with palm os 4.01 with a palm 505 and a palm Vx with no problems. Try using this version and see what happens.
