EasySync Pro 4.21 - calendar description cannot be empty

I have a few users experiencing similar problems. When syncing with notes calendar, get an error message that on a 05/02/2003, there is an alarm set, and the description cannot be empty. There is nothing in the Notes calendar for that date.

Facts:
Notes 5.0.8
EasySync Pro 4.21
Palm V
Palm Zire 71
Palm Tungsten
We only sync calendar, contacts and to do, nothing else from Notes.

I hope someone can help, this is getting very annoying. I have tried reinstalling Palm desktop and EasySync s/w. Resetting the palm to reload everything. Nothing works.
