EasySync 4.2 does not sync events > 1day

I am running Easy sync 4.2 and palm Desktop 4.0.1. Everythin ok except that events > 1 day (vacation, conferences and so on) are only synced for day No 1 from the desktop to the palm (The error message is in German; it should translate into something like "Event exceeds day limits. End of event adjusted")
I used to run the ol' freeware version of easysync, there everything was fine. But our IT folks said I should use the new version, and now i'm sc....d.

Any help?
