This is not my idea, I picked up somewhere else. If you are running lots of reports thru SQR dialog box, u might hate typing the full path of file or using files button and entering database, user name, password each time. don't you. here is a simple way.
Go to shortcut icon SQR, right click go to properties and in start in specify your SQR reports source directory. You can just type your file name in the Report name field.
For entering Database names, user name, password try this. In Target, after c:\sqrbinw\sqrw.exe type this "? ?hrdmo/sysadm/sysadm/sysadm" along with other flags. voila!!! your job is just to write your filename without specifying the path and done. You are ready to run your report... If this doesn't work plz let me know.
