Hiyas,

I'm relatively uneducated in this field, but I need to find a reliable firewall for about 20 users. Something with content management is a plus, packet filtering? Again, kinda dumb here. They need to protect their data, possibly make secure banking transactions, and hopefully be able to filter content. I'm also waiting for licensing info from webwasher (any thoughts on webwasher?).

Thanks for all your help,

Justin

Well I guess the first question when you are deciding on a firewall is what are you protecting and what value do you place on those assets. The best firewall I have come across and easy to use in my opinion is Sidewinder from SEcure Computing.

A relatively cheap ($83) Firewall/router/switch is the sohoware Broadguard

It has NAT and SPI protocols, and protects againist DOS attacks like LAND, ping of death, Syn flooing, tear drop, win nuke, smurf and IP spoofing.

It has email notification of attacks, and URL and user access control a DMZ and supports MS's VPN I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
