Easy to reinstall TCP/IP on a 2k server?

Although I think this server has a virus I keep getting an error with the agent browser for backup exec - unable to start tcp/ip module. I was thinking, as an extreme last resort, to reinstall tcp/ip. My question is, how easy is it to do so after countless number of patches and service packs have been installed?

Reinstalling TCP/IP is not that bad but requires a number of restarts.

First add IPX/SPX. Reboot
Uncheck TCP/IP. Reboot
Remove TCP/IP. Reboot
Add Protocol & choose TCP/IP
Configure TCP/IP. Reboot
Remove IPX/SPX. Reboot

Thanks. I will run a virus check one more time and if it doesn't find anything I will give the above a try.

Question: IF I have more than one nic do I have to uncheck tcp/ip for each one (I have four total)?

Unfortunatley yes, otherwise the files remain in use.
