Is there a way to re-establish the Field Heading and data link, so that when I move the data or field heading it all moves togeather? Crystal 9 / SQL.

Thanks-
Laurie

Hi,
Shift-Click ( or maybe Cntrl_Click ) on each object and then they will move together..

You can use either the Ctrl or the Shift left mouse click to select multiple objects, or you can align them by placing a guideline and snapping the fields to it (I suggest this), or you can lasso a group of fields by holding down the left button on the mouse and surrounding fields.

Another trick is once you get things where you want them, highlight them both and select format objects and in the Common tab turn on the Lock Position and Size so as not to inadvertently move them.
