Hi!!!

Do you know which is the funtion in VFP 6.0 that find a Char in a string and change it for other one?

For example I'm trying to find "&" in a lot of names

Example: PI&ON

And change it for letter "Ñ":

Example: PIÑON

Thanks for your help

Cesar

Do you mean VB or VFP. In VB you can use the instr() function

In VB, I would use:

sString = "Nam&e"
sNewString = Replace(sString,"&","~")

sNewString would then equal "Nam~e"
