I am seeking a solution to allow our helpdesk to remove corrupted roaming profiles with only allowing nominal security access. Does anyone have a solution? Presently we have to browse to the share and delete the folder. Is there a better way?

Thank you,

Tyler

How much simpler do you want than "Select folder, delete folder"?

That is simple.. However frequently we have RDP to the profile server and delete from the desktop which takes a lot of time. We are deleting dozens a day.

This could be scripted in vbs pretty easily however we've found that frequently we are unable to delete profiles remotely.

Thanks for your comment

Dozens a day? Are you kiding? I have 70 users and might have a corrupt profile once a year. I would investigate the source of the corruptions, thats insane. They being stored on bad disks?

That's certainly indicative of a problem. I can't even remember the last time I had a corrupted profile. But then again I generally try to stay away from roaming profiles unless absolutely necessary.
