Hi,
I just installed Open Office 1.0.1.
This may be an easy and obvious question but What is the difference between OpenOffice.org Writer and OpenOffice.org Global?
Can you accomplish the same things in OpenOffice.org Global that you can in writer? They both appear to be word processors.
It looks like a navigator is started with Global. Is there some way the difference can be pointed out to me by comparing it to a MS product?

Thanks for any information.

Have a Good Day.

Global is the "main" program of OpenOffice. It just assumes that you want Writer. OpenOffice (even if it doesn't appear like it) is a single program. It loads all of the applications, you just use the Writer or whatever program you are using). iSeriesCodePoet
