Easiest way to network 2 Octanes?

The simplest way is to use a cross-connected cable between the boxes and configure the systems for networking. IRIX includes all the software needed. Basic steps are 1) turn on networking 2) modify the /etc/hosts database 3) name the stations. See manuals for details - or describe your case (what kind of information you need) to get more help.
