Hi all,

New to the forum here and new to checkpoint as well. Have a question that should be an easy one. Testing a CheckPoint NG FP3 box here that will seperate two subnets (A and B) and things seem good so far. Users on Subnet A will be required to manage some machines on Subnet B and I'm able to nat over and do that fine. However, I am wondering how to have users authenicate from Subnet A authenticate to an NT 4.0 PDC on Subnet B.

If I'm way to light on information provided - sorry, I can elaborate if necessary.

SM....

are you looking for the ports to open to allow the machine to log in using the pdc for username/pwd in the other subnet
or
looking for the machine to authenticate with the firewall to allow access to the second subnet using the pdc as thwe basis for the username/password?

for the first option try. then look in the logs and see what was rejected then open the required ports.
for the second - that is alot more complicated
