Hi,

The only thing I've ever used Acrobat for is to view online .pdf files. That's it.

My question, how do you make these .pdf files, using acrobat?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I don't know anything about these files.

Thanks [deejay]

Once you are in the document that you would like to convert into a pdf document, just go to file/print/then in the print selection drop down box, choose the acrobat option or the acobat distiller depending what option is available and then click on ok. You will be prompted to save document. The document will now be converted to PDF format. If you are using Microsoft Word and you have acrobat installed, you will now see the acrobat icons on your task bar. Then you can just convert a pdf document instantly with ease the other icon is for converting the document to pdf and e-mailing the document.

Hope this helps.

It didn't work. I want to creat a pdf file from Microsoft Word. When I choose print, there is no option for acrobat. Where do you find it? Do I have to print to file? I tried to print to file and selected all types, and named it trial.pdf, but it didn't open. So what I am doing wrong here. I am using an Epson Stylus 870 Printer.

Thanks [deejay]

Hi

Do you have the full (purchased) version of Adobe Acrobat or have you just got the reader installed? To create and manipulate PDFs you need Acrobat. Derren
