Easier way

Hey, I've seen this before but never have been really clear on it. Alright I have a movie clip set up on my site that tells the news, and it scrolls up and down. I was wondering if there's an easier way to update it then having to open up flash and editing the .fla??? I think I read something about using notepad but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dynamic text box (with scroll), that loads a text file, text file you can edit in Notepad if you wish, and then upload to your server. Next time around the Flash movie will load the new text file... Bingo! Updated news!
